Jessica is an eCommerce strategy expert and support for female entrepreneurs. 20+ years of retail & eCommerce experience gives Jessica the ability to support female entrepreneurs in creating the right strategy for their business. After 20+ years in retail and 3 years as the only employee of a 7-figure eCommerce business, now she is working with the top experts in eCommerce, SEO, web development, and digital marketing.    Show Notes   “Marketing is like sex: everyone thinks they’re good at it.” ― Steve Tobak   We are bombarded with marketing videos on a daily basis encouraging us to sign up to this school or that. But have we considered what goes into setting up one?   This week, The Entrepreneurial You podcast invites Jessica Coster to talk about email automations best practices to make money.   Here is a snippet of what Jessica shared:   “You as a small business, your main focus should be creating a relationship with the customer. So speak to them how you would if you were in a store with them when people approach it from that space it becomes a lot easier to write how you would talk and not get so caught up in all of the rules of copywriting. Another thing to remember is that people buy with emotions and justify their purchases with logic. So as much as you can pull at those heartstrings or the emotion behind what it is that they're purchasing, the more successful you'll be.  For the welcome series in that first email where you are delivering the discount, I usually keep it very simple: here is your discount, come to the website and make your purchase.”   Listen to the episode and let us know what is your biggest takeaway.   Connect with Host and Creator, Heneka Watkis-Porter   Email Instagram LinkedIn YouTube Twitter Facebook Website WhatsApp - 1876-849-2571   Support The Entrepreneurial You here fo US$5.00 monthly: https://glow.fm/tey.   Connect with Jessica Totillo Coster: Website Instagram Facebook   Visit our Sponsor: Jamaica Stock Exchange   SHOP The Entrepreneurial Store: https://henekawatkisporter.com/store/   BOOKS by Heneka Watkis-Porter: https://henekawatkisporter.com/books/   LEARN Podcasting: https://henekawatkisporter.com/learn/   Book Heneka Watkis-Porter to SPEAK: https://henekawatkisporter.com/speaking/   LISTEN to other podcast episodes: https://henekawatkisporter.com/teypodcast/   READ our blog: https://henekawatkisporter.com/blog/   Looking for spiritual upliftment?
