Memory Verse: ‭‭ "Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding" - Proverbs 23:23 NKJV Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Matthew 13:44 NKJV 44. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. INSPIRATION: Jesus, while explaining the meaning of one of his parables said to his disciples, "To you, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom" (Matt. 13:11). There're kingdom mysteries with hidden treasures that are never easily accessible unless you press deeper in the place of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the Revelator, with indepth research and waiting on the Lord in prayers. The secrets that deliver the most results in this kingdom are hidden from ordinary people. Until you pay the price for the extra, you cannot become extraordinary, or enjoy privileged graces. A company that drills for oil will keep exploring deeply until they find a oil well; those who mine gold, diamond and other precious metals give their all in their quest to discover these precious metals in large quantities. Real treasures in this kingdom are not open to ordinary eyes who operate on surface level. You only find them when you seek, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Matt. 7:7). This year, if we must locate our portion of hidden treasures, we must not be lazy to ask, seek and knock. The fervency with which we drive our quest of locating these hidden treasures would determine whether or not we would manifest gloriously. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Determine what constitutes a treasure to you. Then go in search of those treasure with all your heart until you find and buy them. Real treasures hold eternal values, hence you're advised, buy but don't sell it off. Guard your treasure-base jealously. PRAYER: Dear Lord, teach my heart to prioritise and chase after things with eternal values. Cause the eyes of my understanding to be flooded with light to see and understand hidden treasure that can help you manifest gloriously, in Jesus name.
