Makeover Thursday!

Zia writes: My hair has always been a double-edged sword in my life. It’s big, curly, thick, and seems to have a mind of its own. People tell me it’s beautiful and they wish they had hair like mine, but on a hot summer day when it’s frizzy like I just got struck by lightning, I wonder if they might feel differently if they were me. Growing up as the only child of my single father who raised me on his own, I haven’t had many people in my life with a ton of hair (sorry dad! you look great bald!) to show me what to do with the mop on top of my head. So, my hair has looked the same my entire life!
