I live in Alberta, Canada.     In 2006,  I earned a trip to the Dominican Republic.  I fell in love with the country. After going back on vacation, we learned of the huge income disparity between travelers and locals. We started helping and the rest is history.  I am the founder and Director of the Dominican Starfish Foundation. This was definitely an unexpected turn of events that has blessed my life and the life of thousands of others.  We are now working on the #200 home that we have raised money to help with there since 2013. It's never too late to start something important. Expect Miracles--they happen daily.  Focus on the good things.  You can get through the hard stuff. We have taken hundreds of guests to the Dominican Republic with us.  We have shown them the sites, beyond the beach.  We have hosted families, business groups, medical and dental service groups, and more.  Many of our guests have commented that it was a vacation of a lifetime. Everyone’s life is full of challenges, mine was too, but I got a break in my life. I could learn success principles and better my life. Now the main goal I have in my life is to share this information with others so that they can better their lives. When the foundation of your life is spirituality and success principles; you can achieve great heights of success by serving others, and helping others achieve their dreams and goals.
