Making Change — Tomorrow Matters

Concluding the finances series, this message shifts from money to the deeper investment it points toward: the family. The focus is investing in those entrusted to us, with the text moving through the Great Commission in Matthew 28 , Ephesians 5, and Deuteronomy 6. Three points structure the message. First, invest in leading yourself; to disciple a family you must be a disciple. Second, for the married, invest in the marriage as the primary relationship in the home, because Scripture frames marriage, rightly understood, as a reflection of the Trinity and of Christ and the church, marked by mutual submission and sacrificial love. Third, invest in children through the Shema's call to impress God's commands not only in words but in lived example. Parents are described as the primary pastors of their children, and grace, modeling repentance and confession when we fall short, is named as one of the most powerful witnesses we can offer them.
