Making India - Facilitating Business

Two weeks ago, India kicked off its inaugural Make-in-India summit, which drew over 190 international corporations and 5000 delegates to the conference. The week-long summit is part of the Delhi dialogue, which aims to make Delhi a world class city in 5 years, under the country’s very own Vision 2020. Despite the best of intentions, India still ranks 130 out of 189 countries in the World Bank's Doing Business Index, which measures the ease of doing business in the stated countries.
