Making Math Fun For Kids with Jaliyla Fraser

This episode of the Dr. B Show features Jaliyla Fraser, CEO and Founder of Fraser’s Mathematics Solutions. Jaliyla talks about her life as a former Supervisor of Mathematics in the East Orange School District in New Jersey, where she wrote the curriculum and ensured that teachers had the necessary resources to perform their duties. However, out of love for working directly with children, Jaliyla decided to establish her current company to, in her words, “create pipelines of students that aren't afraid of math.” Jaliyla details the different strategies that they are using to make math fun for kids, and why it’s crucial to also be working with parents at home. Because we always want to answer the question why it's important.
