"Making Pearls"

Today's episode is out of 1 Samuel 1. Like a grain of sand inside an oyster, Peninnah was a constant irritation to Hannah. But over time, the friction eventually produced a beautiful pearl. Hannah never allowed Peninnah' s provocations to make her angry or bitter. Yes, her heart was sad and deeply distressed, but even though she was childless , she was never prayerless. Al though she was barren, she still believed. In her pain and sorrow, she found refuge in prayer .
