Making Room for Unconditional Love (Luke 15:1-3, 11-32)- Erina Kim-Eubanks

from Bethel Community Sermons · host Bethel Community San Leandro

On the 4th Sunday of Lent, Pastor Erina preaches from Luke 15 on the parable of the prodigal(s) and explores the simple yet radical truth of God's unconditional love and embrace. She names some of the forces in our world that make unconditional love difficult for us to believe in, while gently inviting us to return to the promise of love and the extravagant embrace of God. At the end of her sermon, she leads us through a contemplative exercise, inviting us to use our imaginations to bring our whole selves into an experience of being embraced by God. Pastor Michael also sings his original song, "Come Home" which can be found here:  https://michaeleubanks.bandcamp.com/track/come-home-from-prodigalia
