Making Space for the Gospel
In our journey of discipleship, we're exploring what it truly means to 'do what Jesus did.' This week, we're focusing on the crucial first step: making room for the gospel. Jesus didn't just preach; He prepared hearts through incredible hospitality. We see this throughout His ministry, from His conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well to His meals with tax collectors and sinners. The key to this preparation? Hospitality - not just entertaining, but showing over-the-top kindness to everyone we meet. As we reflect on Jesus' approach, we're challenged to consider: How can we create space in our lives and in others' hearts for the gospel message? By following Christ's example of genuine care and connection, especially over shared meals, we can break down walls and build bridges that make way for God's transformative love. This week, let's step out of our comfort zones and practice intentional hospitality with someone who doesn't yet know Christ. In doing so, we're not just imitating Jesus; we're participating in His mission to seek and save the lost. If you want help in starting this journey, please don't hesitate to reach out!
