Making the Leap From Traditional Employment to Entrepreneurship

from The Entrepreneurial You · host Heneka Watkis-Porter

Tra is a nationally recognized expert in entrepreneurship and business strategy. He is horrified by the significant decline of entrepreneurship in America, and he has made it his mission to rescue 1 million entrepreneurs from traditional employment. Tra’s new book, Boss Brain, reveals a scientifically-proven system that unlocks readers’ true potential and unleashes their entrepreneurial instincts so they can leave traditional employment forever. That’s the real American Dream!   BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER: The #1 cause of bad sleep   Show Notes   “Build something 100 people love, not something 1 million people kind of like.” – Brian Chesky   The thought of venturing out from the security of a 9 to 5 can be daunting, seemingly disheartening and dismaying. BUT, it can be very rewarding and liberating once you are able to face the fear of the unknown.   This week, The Entrepreneurial You podcast invites Tra Williams to inspire and motivate you to make the leap from traditional employment and start a business of your own.   Here is a snippet of what Tra shared:   “The first of the four instincts in my book is belief. When you say ‘belief’, traditionally people think that of religion or faith, but belief happens all day every day in your lives. You believe that you should stop at a red light because if you do not, you get in a car accident. You go to work because you believe on Friday, you'll get a paycheck. Every action that you take is a belief that it will result in some predictable result. The challenge for you to begin that process of unlearning how to be an employee and learning how to think and live like an entrepreneur requires that belief. But you can't just wake up one morning and believe; you need evidence. What I say in the book and what I would say to everyone who's trying to make this transition is, belief is reverse-engineered. You start by taking actions, even if deep down you're still very apprehensive about the inevitability or the possibility of your success.”   Listen to the episode and let us know what is your biggest takeaway.   Connect with Host and Creator, Heneka Watkis-Porter   Email Instagram LinkedIn YouTube Twitter Facebook Website WhatsApp - 1876-849-2571   Support The Entrepreneurial You here fo US$5.00 monthly: https://glow.fm/tey.     Connect with Tra Williams:   Join the waitlist for a limited number of books   Website Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Twitter   Visit our Sponsor: Jamaica Stock Exchange   SHOP The Entrepreneurial Store: https://henekawatkisporter.com/store/ BOOKS by Heneka Watkis-Porter: https://henekawatkisporter.com/books/   LEARN Podcasting: https://henekawatkisporter.com/learn/   Book Heneka Watkis-Porter to SPEAK: https://henekawatkisporter.com/speaking/   LISTEN to other podcast episodes: https://henekawatkisporter.com/teypodcast/   READ our blog: https://henekawatkisporter.com/blog/   Looking for spiritual upliftment?
