Today scout leader is faced with a lot of competition for the attention of young people. Scouting provides an opportunity unlike anything else. Scout leaders need to keep themselves motivated so they can provide guidance for their scouts. Making the most of your time and scouting is critical to success. We don't have an idea of how much time we have in life. So planning out what you want to accomplish is important. Keep in mind that not every moment of every scouting trip or meeting should be planned down to the second.
