In addition,  he is also a freelance outdoor writer, contributing to such publications as North American Whitetail, Deer & Deer Hunting, Quality Whitetails and Whitetail News. He was named the 2014 Communicator of the Year by the Quality Deer Management Association. Mark has served as Director of Digital Content for The National Deer Alliance and has most recently joined MeatEater.
