making tomorrow better

from Caffeine Crisis · host Angel Salgado

Hey y'all!! Finally back on track with a refreshed mind, and taking on the new year with new goals and a clearer mind. Hope this helps you in some sort of way to understand to take on challenges but be patient with yourself and do it for yourself. It can be difficult to set goals for the new year, so make sure to make realistic goals and if you do not get them done by a certain time or don't see the process you expect, don't take it as you're not doing enough, rather be proud and happy that you are making some progress rather than none. I love y'all!!

Host: Ralph Sara Explicit All Ears with Abigail Disney Abigail Disney Abigail has a new documentary, The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales, in which she examines the inequality crisis through the lens of the company her grandfather helped found, The Walt Disney Company. In the film, she asks how it is possible that so many workers at Disneyland, aka “the happiest place on earth,” can’t afford life's basic necessities, even when they work full time. For the fourth season of All Ears, Abigail poses that question to people who are doing the most Disney thing of all–using their imaginations–in this case to rethink capitalism. She talks with business leaders, union organizers, and economists to learn how they would fix our broken economy. Explicit Crisis: Clergy Abuse in the Catholic Church The Catholic Project A series about the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church: its origins, characters, causes, and reforms. Host Karna Lozoya interviews bishops, survivors, reporters, lawyers, social workers, and many more, to help navigate a systemic problem that has plagued the modern church for at least 70 years.
