The next will be John the Baptist's. This minor prophet — whose namemeans "my messenger" — was sent to a remnant grown smug and skeptical:corrupt priests offering blemished sacrifices, men callously divorcing thewives of their youth, a people who had relegated their faith to mereformalism. Yet before God rebukes them, he opens with love: "I have lovedyou, says the Lord."Across ten episodes we walk the whole book — the seven challenges and sevenanswers, the call to give God our best, the warning to leaders, "I hatedivorce," the promise to send the messenger, the refiner's fire, theinvitation to "test me" in our giving, the scroll of remembrance, and theclosing prophecy of the Son of righteousness who will rise with healing inhis wings.Malachi ends with a warning. The New Testament opens with the Messenger. The Son of righteousness has come.▸ Start with Episode 1 for the introduction, or jump to any episode▸ Subscribe so you don't miss new studies▸ Share with a friend who would be encouraged----------00:00 Introduction00:30 The day is coming01:21 The day of complete reversal01:54 Purposeful cleansing fire02:30 As in the days of Noah03:40 The Son of righteousness rises04:43 Leap like calves released06:00 Closing prayer----------#BookOfMalachi #BibleStudy #BethStudies #MinorProphets #SonOfRighteousness
