Malachi Jordan Visit Could Be Key | Kansas Jayhawks Basketball News

Kansas basketball is eyeing a major recruiting win as top-23 small forward Malachi Jordan prepares to visit Lawrence in September. Standing at 6-foot-7 with elite athleticism and rim-finishing ability, Jordan could be the Jayhawks’ first commitment for the 2027 class — especially after their previous target, Javon Bardwell, backed out. With room to grow on defense and perimeter play, Jordan’s raw upside and passing potential make him a perfect fit for Coach Self’s system. The visit comes amid a broader international push, including German wing Fabian Kayser, and with Tyran Stokes potentially departing after one year, Jordan could step into significant minutes early. As USC, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and UConn also compete for his signature, this could be Kansas’ biggest chance to land a blue-chip piece before the season starts.
