Malama Maui

Mahalo nui to our guest, Leanne Pletcher from the Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau! We had a great conversation that I hope you listen to, about the many programs they champion to promote responsible tourism — To hana kūpono (do what is right) while visiting the lands and waters of Maui, to mindfully experience the breathtaking beauty of the ‘āina and the welcoming spirit of the kama’āina. Because for everyone who comes here, it is our kuleana (responsibility) to mālama (care for) Maui. And to remember that: He ali’i ka ‘āina; he kauā me kanaka. “The land is chief; man is its servant”.
