Pravidla pro nebankovní půjčky se mohou v Česku výrazně změnit. Sněmovnou prošel v prvním čtení zákon, který provádí evropskou směrnici o spotřebitelských úvěrech. Pro většinu klientů podle Jiřího Hauptmanna, člena představenstva Asociace poskytovatelů nebankovních úvěrů, nepůjde o zásadní změnu. Pro nízkopříjmové a ekonomicky zranitelnější domácnosti však může být dopad citelný.
