Mali has joined a call for increased efforts to end the plight of child under nutrition. The recent Cost of Hunger in Mali study shows that 34 per cent of infant mortality cases in the country are associated with under nutrition. Experts say the results of this study demonstrate the urgency for Mali to mobilize more efforts to reduce child malnutrition in order to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
