She graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor Degree in Media and Visual Culture Studies. She then went on to graduate from the University of Michigan with a Masters Degree in Sport Management. Malia Bates has experience with organizations such as USA Hockey, the Oakland Athletics Baseball team, the University of Michigan, and other great organizations. We discuss the importance of networking and pushing through rejection. Her drive, perseverance, and passion for sports has led her to where she is at today.
