Malik Washington’s Bowl Push | Maryland Terrapins Football News

Malik Washington is back to lead Maryland toward a bowl game, vowing to fix their biggest weakness: failing to close out games. After setting program records as a freshman with nearly 3,000 yards and 21 touchdowns, the Terps still lost eight straight to end last season. This year, a revamped receiving corps—led by JUCO transfers Gladding and Durr Jr., plus returning Kaleb Webb and rising freshman Jayden Kitchens—is key. Washington’s focus? Building chemistry off the field and instilling a new mindset: “Finishing the Fourth Quarter.” He believes mastering clutch moments will transform their entire season—and finally get them to a bowl.
