Originating from La Rochelle, France, he has over fifteen years of experience in offshore racing. Lemonnier began his career in race management with the 2010 Barcelona World Race and has since been involved in multiple editions of the Vendée Globe, including 2012, 2016, and 2020. Prior to his current role, he served as the sports and operations manager for the IMOCA class starting in October 2021.
