Malkiat Singh
from Yours Politically - Sanjesh Narain Hosted by Tarana
ACT Party Papakura electorate candidate Malkiat Singh says he has scaled back his campaign activities after receiving threatening messages via social media and phone. Singh said he no longer feels safe door-knocking and is accompanied by others whenever he is out in public. Speaking to Radio Tarana host Sanjesh Narain, Singh said his family had also urged him to reduce some public engagements due to safety concerns. Asked whether the attacks against him were politically motivated, Singh said he believed several factors could be involved, including his visual appearance and the possibility that some people had issues with the ACT Party.
