Malvern man charged with bringing guns to 'No Kings' rally sentenced on federal bomb charge

The Malvern man charged with bringing guns and ammunition to a Chester County "No Kings Rally" last year was sentenced federally today for explosive devices found in his home. 32-year-old Kevin Krebs was sentenced this morning to 37 months in prison for his conviction on a separate federal charge of possessing unregistered explosive devices. Those explosive devices were found inside his home two days after his arrest at a rally on June 14 of last year for carrying a firearm without a license. Chester County Detectives discovered a possible pipe bomb, and related materials in his garage. Bomb technicians responded, examined the device, and determined that it contained nails and screws. Additional IEDs, as well as other explosive materials and related components were also recovered. Krebs could get additional prison time. He is facing state charges for possession of firearms, weapons of mass destruction and other offenses. That case is still pending. (Photo: West Chester Police Department)
