Malverne High School Spoken Word Poetry Club - Part 2

Bill Horan and Gina Halstead learn about Malverne High School's Spoken Word Poetry Club, something Gina took part in as a student. It’s a space where students, regardless of race, religion, gender identity, or economic background, can come together and express themselves creatively, freely, and emotionally using words. They speak with Jacinta Bowman, a Teacher and Librarian at Malverne High School, and the advisor to the club, along with some of her students - Nirvana Cole, Lucian Valerie, Uche Alozie, and Tatiyana Forbes-Smith.
