MAMA SAID, 'THERE WILL BE DAYS LIKE THIS'

It is no unusual thing for the bravest hearts to be subject to fits of doubt. What a mercy it is that it is not your hold of Christ that saves you, but His hold of you! What a sweet fact that it is not how you grasp His hand, but His grasp of yours that saves you . — Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hope rests on faith, and at the same time quickens faith, and is the ground of our bold confession. Hebrews 10:23Do not be shaken by your trials, or by the arguments of your enemies. We have the same inducement to hold fast the profession of our faith--for it is the same religion still; we have the same Saviour, and there is held out to us still the same prospect of heaven!Charles H. SpurgeonHave you ever experienced a D-day; distressed, depressed, disappointed, discouraged, disillusioned? If John had such a bad day, so will you and I and it's not a damnable sin- it's just the human factor. It's not who we are, it's just where we are at- it's just a bad day. It wasn't the greatest day for the greatest prophet, but Mama said there would be days like this and so did Jesus. Keep moving, don't quit, the Kingdom is really at hand.
