Mammoth Cave & Fort Worden

S2 E21: In this last episode of our Summer Campfire Stories, we share our last 2 stories of a couple eerie filled camping locations. Mammoth Cave National Park, found in Kentucky,  is a natural wonder—the largest known cave system in the world that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Among the many intriguing mysteries of Mammoth Cave are sightings of ghostly figures that appear now and again along major tour routes. Fort Worden Historical State Park has gained a notoriety for being one of the most haunted locations in the Pacific Northwest. As a former military fort with a long and storied history, it’s not surprising that it has accumulated tales of strange happenings and  ghostly encounters.
