Man admits he lied about girlfriend locking him in storage unit for days

Investigators dropped the charges against a Monroe woman accused of locking her boyfriend in a storage unit for days after the man admitted he gave police conflicting information about the incident.  Robin Deaton was charged with first-degree kidnapping and attempted first-degree murder after detectives said she locked her boyfriend in a storage unit on Feb. 20. The man was left there for almost four days, according to an arrest warrant.
