Man and Wife

In which Geoffrey escorts his weary wife Anne back to their cottage under the firm condition of maintaining strict separation within the household, whilst he seeks legal counsel to pursue a divorce based on a contrived case. Meanwhile, Geoffrey wrestles with the unexpected failure of his plan and reflects on the steadfast devotion of another woman who waits for him in hopeful anticipation.
