Man Charged After Fatal Clash in Vegas Encampment | Las Vegas News

A chilling incident erupted in downtown Las Vegas when 36-year-old Alex Quintana-Taurez allegedly stabbed and killed Zak Williams after a confrontation over stolen tech — but the real story is far darker: a man spiraling through addiction, desperation, and violence, all while claiming self-defense. Witnesses say Quintana-Taurez, known for carrying a knife and prone to violent outbursts, was fueled by meth and convinced his tablet was hidden among homeless encampments. When Williams intervened, the knife came out — and the rest is tragedy. Found in an abandoned laundry room, Quintana-Taurez now faces murder and arson charges, with court set for September 24th. This isn’t just a crime — it’s a stark portrait of urban despair gone fatal. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
