Queensland police have charged a man with murder after human remains were found in bushland 55 kilometres outside of Toowoomba. Investigators believe it's the body of 30-year-old Jana Armstrong... who hasn't been seen since Tuesday. Police were called to the site off Esk Hampton Road at Redbank Creek at around 10-40 last night where the remains were found and a crime scene was declared. Darling Downs detectives have since conducted a search warrant at a property in the Toowoomba suburb of Harristown and arrested a 48-year-old man. He's been charged with one count of murder as a domestic violence offence. He's due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow. A teenage boy has faced court charged over the alleged murder of a 13-year-old girl in western Victoria. A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Friday and appeared in a children's court last night, where he was remanded in custody to face court again at a later date. There are fears the death toll from the raging wildfires in Spain will rise. At least 12 people have died, while 23 others remain unaccounted for. A slight drop in temperatures has helped improve conditions for the hundreds of firefighters who have been battling the blaze since it broke out in the country's south-east on Friday. The fire has scorched more than 60 square kilometres of forest and farmland in Andalusia. Press the 'Follow' or '+' button on this show page to add us to your playlist, so you never miss an episode.
