In 2014, Joseph Parker shot his sleeping wife Samantha in the head and dismembered her body to fit in a garage freezer. Two days later, he called 911, insisting "she's not dead," claiming he could make her blink—once for yes, twice for no. Investigators found the 44-year-old's frozen, legless remains. Parker fled to Kentucky, took his own life during a police pursuit after losing his job and facing foreclosure. A case of psychotic delusion or a guilty conscience's Tell-Tale Heart moment.
