THE man who was shot dead at a Surrey business in the 13000-block of 76 Avenue on the afternoon of May 4 “was allegedly a “main handler” for the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had alleged ties to cricket fixing,” according to a news report.The man’s name has yet to be disclosed by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). All that IHIT told the media was that he was a man in his 30’s who had no criminal history and was not previously the target of any reported threats or extortion. He was at his place of work at the time of the shooting.There are several businesses operating from the building in which he was killed.
