Man Marking - Episode 13 - Dave Bolton

Episode 13: Refusing to accept a terminal diagnosis.  Dave Bolton is in his late 30's, he is married, has two children, and lives on The Wirral. You would be forgiven for not having heard of Dave. But, I promise you, you have never heard a story quite like Dave's.  Dave comes from a military dynasty, his Father and Grandfather both served in the Armed Forces, so it was almost an inevitability that Dave would serve two tours of Iraq whilst serving in the RAF. After leaving the forces at the age of 21, Dave joined Merseyside Police, and soon found himself head hunted to join a plain clothed Tactical unit, and a Bronze commander on 3 force wide Drug Operation’s code named Op Manaton. In 2009 Dave became the Light Weight Kickboxing Champion of the World, whilst representing Great Britain at the World championship in Italy.  Do you know what the most ridiculous part of this story is? Those few paragraphs don't even begin to tell you about Dave's adult life, one shaped by his unbelieving determination for survival and self improvement.  So sit back, and enjoy, I promise you won't have heard anything quite like it before.
