Man Marking - Episode 7 - Aaron Connolly

Episode 7: Suicide, worthlessness, and the road to recovery. Aaron Connolly came through at the Scottish First Division Side Ayr United's youth set up, before going on to play for Annan Athletic and East Kilbride.  You would be forgiven for not having heard of his football career, however, Aaron came to most people's attention in 2019, following his second suicide attempt, Aaron spoke openly with a number of media outlets about his struggles with depression.  Now 12 months on, Aaron reflects on the thoughts and difficulties he experienced that led him to try to take his own life, as well as his experience in a psychiatric unit and how through therapy, talking, and support from his family he is on the road to recovery.
