Man shot, killed in Mayfair ambush, police say

A man was shot and killed after being ambushed in Mayfair late Wednesday night. It happened around 11 p.m. on Gilham Street at Frankford Avenue. Police said the 24-year-old victim was walking up to the house of someone he knew when three men approached him. There was some sort of confrontation, and they shot him multiple times. Bullets also hit several homes. Police said the suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan and are still at large. (Photo credit: NBC10)
