Man Staged Crash Then Flew From Police | St. Louis News

Dewayne Woods pulled off a wild stunt in Florissant—staging a fake fender bender to rob a Volvo driver, only for the victim to fight back. When cops arrived, Woods and his crew bolted, sparking two high-speed chases—one through a neighborhood hitting 90 mph, another into the city—both forced to end for safety. The twist? Woods recorded a “goodbye” video during the second chase, apologizing and admitting he couldn’t lose them. Now facing serious charges including attempted robbery and fleeing police, he’s locked up on a $200K cash bond with court dates this Thursday and in September.
