Man Threatens Shooting in Calgary Safeway | Calgary News

A Calgary Safeway shopper escalated a heated argument into a deadly threat—yelling about grabbing a shotgun and shooting someone—right in front of the other person’s wife and kid. After store staff intervened, police tracked him to a nearby home where a gunshot was heard, but no one was hurt. Officers arrested 49-year-old James Dean Garriock, who was found with an arsenal including a .40 pistol, loaded shotgun, BB gun disguised as a Glock, and ammo. He now faces multiple charges, including threats, illegal weapon possession, reckless discharge, and careless storage. Authorities praised quick action by witnesses and police for preventing a tragedy. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
