Her career started out at McKinsey & Company in Dubai, where she spent a few years before moving to London to serve as a Senior Project Manager at the premier management consultancy for sports, Portas Consulting. 7 years later, Elise left Portas after a spiritual awakening to become an independent sports and wellness business consultant and co-founder of the gym Embody in Lisbon, Portugal.
