Managing Patients with Cognitive Decline (FAQ)

Overview: The talk will focus on the criteria for diagnosis of dementia and how to apply the criteria for dementia diagnosis, including how to differentiate among types of degenerative dementias. It will review both non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatments for dementia, specifically focusing on the Choosing Wisely recommendations. The faculty will stress the consequences of caregiving and the significance of supporting caregivers in their role.
