On today's episode, Anjelica is joined by first-gen Mexican-American Dr. Jessica Gomez, a clinical psychologist, and the current executive director of the non-profit organization, "Momentous Institute". The Momentous Institute is a 104 year old organization that aims to champion children's mental health. Inspired by the inequities she witnessed being raised in Southside Chicago, Dr. Gomez has worked as a bilingual psychologist in order to help erase the stigma surrounding the topic of mental health within the Latino community.
