Mancub at the Fox(Oakland) Crystal Castles Opening Mix Oct 22, 2012

True story.... I get a phone call during the first pitch of game 7 SF Giants vs St.L. Cardinals game. Expecting it to be Termanix (making an appointment) but it was Another Planet. They asked if "Mancub" was available to open for Crystal Castles....I said Sure!! umm...when? in 1 hour..... I hung up, ran to work from The Missouri Lounge to grab my DJ gear, went home, changed, drove to Fox, sound checked, met band, watched some of the game backstage and thought....what am I going to play? I ask Crystal Castles Manager.... the band wants "dark electronica" ...not really my style but I own lots of music. I ran on stage, grabbed my laptop and put a set together in 10 minutes. Sad news; I did not record my live set but decided to rerecord it at home. Enjoy--Chip
