Mandating the reading of Protestant biblical passages in public schools isn't fair to those that practice other religions

Texas will become the first state to require public school students to read selections from the Bible. Is that a legitimate way to teach history, literature, and the foundations of Western civilization, or is it the beginning of a broader effort to force Christianity into American classrooms?
