MANDATORY COVID-19 COUNTER MEASURES IN THE MILITARY

And perhaps they are when you consider that what flows through the veins of every red-blooded American is the same sacred serum of Hope & Humanity. A strong, physically fit and super active Coast Guard veteran who jumped out of helicopters, Lindy Ayers-Mattingly is the definition of a patriot. A soldier born to protect and serve. Trained to follow orders and love her country, Lindy happily observed the chain of command. However, when Lindy received her first military mandated shot for Covid-19 in September 2021, (she did not want the shot but she was threatened with dishonorable discharge), she knew that something wasn’t quite right. The second shot changed her life forever. In this conversation, Lindy and her husband, Mike open up and share their harrowing experiences with sudden and unexplained health issues that began with flu-like symptoms, and escalated to alarming heart rate irregularities and mobility challenges that have left her bed-bound on most days. The discussion highlights the confusion and fear surrounding her medical journey of serious, adverse effects following the Covid-19 shot and her frustration trying to get help from the military and various healthcare professionals that still, years later, cannot restore her to her vibrant, robust health pre-injection. Trying to unravel her medical mystery, Lindy and Mike, who is her primary care-giver, are confronted by a government that does not seem to want to acknowledge their role in her physical and emotional decline — as well as the military she dedicated her life to, who have also turned their back on her.   A very emotional conversation between a frustrated, unsung, hurting, young hero and a hippy-dippy California actress mom who has found a deep well of sadness and frustration of her own for this injured veteran who has been left so miserably out in the cold by the cowards she served so bravely.
