In the 1980s, Mandeep S. Sobti joined H & R Block, where he contributed for nine years. Mr. Sobti worked diligently, eventually reaching the position of District Office Manager. He subsequently decided to explore other opportunities. Beyond his accounting industry work, Mr. Sobti is an avid runner and can be regularly spotted running in prestigious races, most notably The NYC and other Marathons sporting a saffron-colored turban, the symbol of the sanctity of the Sikh identity. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mandeep Sobti supports charitable organizations and causes. Mr. Sobti currently acts as Senior Vice President & Finance Chair for the Sikh Art & Film Foundation and Sikh leadership summit as well as serves on the Sikh Coalition's Council of Advisors. Sikh Coalition promotes and protects the civil and human rights of individuals embracing their Sikh identities. Mr. Sobti is also one of the founding trustees of the Punjabi Chamber of Commerce in the USA. In addition, Mandeep Sobti is often contacted by analyst and consulting firms, as well as television and radio shows, seeking his expert tax advice and industry perspective. He also participates on professional panels as a minority business owner.
