Mangaung Mayor, Olly Mlamleli soon to know her fate

The Mangaung Metro is expected to make an announcement over the fate of executive mayor Olly Mlamleli. The metro will hold a special council meeting this afternoon. Mlamleli was voted out last week Friday during a motion of no confidence. Some ANC Councillors voted with opposition parties to oust Mlamleli through a secret vote. Speaker Mxolisi Siyonzana is expected to officially announce the results at about 14h00 this afternoon. The motion comes after the municipality was downgraded twice by Rating Agency Moody's. The municipality was also placed under administration last year. We got an update from our reporter, Ishmael Modiba.
