Wayne Dyer taught that manifesting desires begins in the mind and heart, through alignment with Source rather than force. He emphasized that we don’t “attract” what we want simply by wishing—we manifest by becoming energetically aligned with what we seek.     In direct correlation, his information on the power of thought is so important.  Wayne Dyer’s teachings on the power of thought are central to his entire philosophy of personal growth and spiritual living. He consistently emphasized that our thoughts are not passive mental activity—they are creative forces that shape our lives, relationships, health, and even destiny. 1. You Become What You Think About Dyer often echoed the wisdom of teachers like Emerson and Buddha: “As you think, so shall you be.” He taught that holding consistent thoughts—whether positive or negative—acts like a blueprint that the universe, or the subconscious mind, responds to. If you think fearful, limiting thoughts, you begin to attract experiences that reinforce fear and limitation. If you think expansive, loving, and possibility-oriented thoughts, you open the door to abundance, healing, and synchronicity. 2. Thoughts and Intention He frequently linked thoughts with intention. In his book The Power of Intention, Dyer explained that every thought carries energy that connects us with the universal Source. When you focus your thinking on what you intend to manifest, you align with this Source energy, and creation begins to move in that direction. 3. Programming the Subconscious Dyer taught that the subconscious mind absorbs what we repeatedly think. He encouraged people to monitor self-talk and the mental stories they replay. He recommended beginning the day with affirmations such as “I am whole, perfect, strong, loving, harmonious, and happy.” At night, he suggested programming the subconscious with peaceful, creative, or healing thoughts, because the mind continues to “marinate” in them during sleep. 4. Thoughts as Vibrations Drawing from spiritual and quantum perspectives, Dyer emphasized that thoughts are vibrational frequencies. Low-energy thoughts—anger, resentment, fear—attract experiences of the same frequency. High-energy thoughts—gratitude, love, forgiveness—connect you with what he called “higher consciousness” and bring about harmony. 5. Shifting Thought = Shifting Reality For Dyer, transformation begins not with external circumstances but with inner perception. He often said: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” This means that the world doesn’t need to change first—you do. By shifting your thoughts, your perception alters, and what once looked like obstacles can be seen as opportunities. 6. Living as a Co-Creator Ultimately, Dyer viewed the power of thought as proof that we are co-creators with God or Source. Our minds are not isolated; they are extensions of universal consciousness.
