Manifesting with Meg & Carla Fazio: Ep 39- The Joyous Adventure of Learning   Carla Fazio graduated in 2005 with her bachelors in nursing with honors at Holy family University in Philadelphia. Inspired at a young age to be a nurse when her grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, she went into the healthcare world to help people. Also, she loved science. It is also a field that is constantly evolving and improving.  She worked for 10 years as a nurse in trauma/ICU ward at Thomas Jefferson University and University of Pennsylvania. Seven years ago, she furthered her education and went to grad school to become a nurse practitioner at La Salle University as she wanted to become more independent and gain the knowledge and ability to diagnose and prescribe. She graduated in 2013 and has been a nurse practitioner for 6 years in Oncology at University of Miami. She has been on the front lines of this pandemic and shares with us what it has been like, what we may need to pay attention to stay informed and how an introduction to telemedicine may be the wave of the future.  This pandemic has affected her in several ways. At first, she was very concerned and scared as she watched it spread so quickly from country to country. She realized that it was just a matter of time before it came to her daily work life.
