Since 1994 she headed up the PR department of a major book publisher, HCI (Health Communications, Inc.), best known for launching health, wellness, inspirational, women’s, nonfiction, and self-help including the bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul series and A Child Called “It.” While at HCI, she worked with legendary actor Kirk Douglas on one of his final books, Life Could Be Verse: Reflections on Love, Loss, and What Really Matters.
