Manipulation and toxicity: the maturity debate

In todays podcast I speak on the ways that the ego uses manipulation and toxicity to protect the 'story' we are constantly telling ourselves about our reality and our situation. Childhood development, early trauma and life experience all create our 'story' and the ego is constantly trying to uphold this for us to feel safe. In order to grow however, we need to be vulnerable enough to look outside of our story and our truth to see that there may be another perspective or avenue we can take to heal or grow from difficult life situations. Healing is hard, but sitting in your pain is harder.I speak about how maturity = awareness and this comes from the life experience we obtain. We learn by looking outside of our 'story.'
